Ben Cafferty (Senior Strategist) A seasoned veteran of many campaigns, Ben Cafferty has served Presidents Stuart Hughes and Selina Meyer as Chief-of-Staff and as Campaign Manager for Jonah Ryan. Prior to that he was a sought-after crisis manager for leaders around the globe through Cafferty Associates, an international political consulting group. He served briefly as the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Governmental Affairs for Uber. Cafferty is a graduate of Rutgers.
Kent Davidson (Senior Strategist) Mr. Davison has had a distinguished career in public service beginning with a job as a measurer at the Bureau of Weights and Measures. His other key posts include working as an irregularities analyst for the US Postal Service Office of Investigations, a statistics manager for the Seattle Seahawks, and a senior strategist for President Stuart Hughes. This is the second presidential campaign he has worked on for President Selina Meyer, having worked as her Campaign Manager during the 2016 race. He holds an undergraduate and two graduate degrees from MIT in mathematics and musicology. When only 29 years old, he was named to Statistics magazine’s annual “30 under 30” list.
Dan Egan (Deputy Communications Director) With tongue planted firmly in cheek, Daniel Clifford “Dan” Egan jokingly describes himself as a “recovering newsman.” Known to millions as the former anchor of “CBS This Morning.” Egan, who served under Selina Meyer in various capacities both when she was president and when she was vice president, is known as a dynamic team player with a sharp eye for both political strategy and political tactics. Born and raised in Emu Park, NY, Egan attended Hampden-Sydney College on a golf scholarship. Egan enjoys exercising and watching sporting events on television in his spare time.
Keith Quinn (Campaign Manager) Alvin Keith Quinn was born and raised in Plainville, Kansas (population 770) smack dab in the middle of, as Keith puts it, “the left ventricle of the American Heartland.” The son of one of Kansas’ first female dentists and first male dental hygienists, Quinn likes to say that he owes his “corny” sense of humor to all of the corn that he grew up with. Others have pointed out that the predominant agricultural product in the area around Plainville is sorghum, a type of grass primarily use as animal fodder. But Quinn prides himself on his “happy go lucky,” “live and let live” attitude so he doesn’t care about petty nit-picking of this sort. Quinn credits his passion for politics to a dream he once had about former senator and fellow Kansan Bob Dole. A graduate of the University of Kansas where he majored in pharmacy science, Quinn is a Lt. Commander in the Coast Guard Reserve.
Leon West (Press Secretary) Nicknamed “The Wizard” by friends and foes alike, Leon West has been one of the most influential political journalists in America for more than two decades. Formerly with the Washington Post, where he carried on that paper’s legendary investigative traditions, West was known for his dogged pursuit of big stories. His five-part series on cost overruns and poor performance by the Navy’s MN-320 “Beachcomber” Hovercraft won the Weinfeld Award for Military Reporting in 2017. In 2014, in an uncomfortable episode, West made news himself when he was detained in Tehran by the Iranian government for six days. A self-described “wonk,” West says he actually relaxes by reading policy papers in his spare time and has gotten more than a few scoops just by thoroughly reviewing material others find too boring to read all the way through. A graduate of the University of Michigan, West has a pet cat named Redacted.
